Gorgeous villa with private pool, Anduze
Nestling at the foot of the Cevennes mountain range, this large, beautiful 5 bedroom house, with independent 40 m²apartment, is close to the town of Anduze and is less than an hour from the Mediterranean.
The house is newly built from a mixture of wood and red brick, and is extremely well isolated. With a climate control it remains comfortable inside when midday temperatures go up high. The overhanging eaves and terraces all around enlarge living space even more.
This is a very spacious house with a total interior surface of some 285 m2, and is divided up in an attractive yet functional fashion into two mail large volumes, containing the main living area and the bedrooms. Nestling at the foot of the Cevennes mountain range, this large, beautiful 5 bedroom house, with independent 40 m²apartment, is close to the town of Anduze and is less than an hour from the Mediterranean.
Anduze is easy to reach with TGV stations in Nimes and Montpellier which are also the nearest airports with daily (Ryanair) flight to UK, larger international airport is Marseille at less than two hours’ drive. In the surrounding there are many nice medieval villages and towns like Uzes, Sommieres and also Avignon at two hours’ drive.
On the ground floor theirs is a large and a spacious area of 34 m2 which is in use a table tennis room, next to it the laundry room with washer and dryer.
The magnificent main living area is connected to the rest of the house by a welcoming entrance hall. Opposite the living room on the ground floor is a large room used as an extra bedroom. There is a shower room and toilet on the same level as this room.
The numerous, double-glazed windows are large and permit a maximum amount of light to enter and gives a splendid view over the surrounding mountains. The main living room is 70 m2 with a large fireplace. Facing towards the south and west, there’s a large, spacious kitchen opening onto the eating area, giving a very convivial living space.
The large bay windows bring in plenty of light, and lead on to the beautiful terrace which surrounds the living area. The terrace looks to the west giving magnificent views across the Cévennes.
At the upper end of the first floor is the large and very comfortable master bedroom with two French doors which give access to the walkway up to the swimming pool and magnificent views to the west via large windows. It has a private dressing room and a bathroom.
On the opposite side of the first floor to the master bedroom there are three comfortable double bedrooms, each with double French doors which give plenty of light throughout the day. Each bedroom has a built-in wardrobe, and they share a bathroom with a bath and shower. The bathroom also has a built-in cupboard.
All three bedrooms have access to the walkway leading up to the swimming pool.
The second part of the house is an independent, self-contained 40 m2 apartment situated on two levels. On the upper level is a kitchen and well-lit sitting/bed room with several windows and French doors which open onto a large, private terrace. The apartment bedroom has a small en-suite bathroom and separate toilet. The bedroom has double French doors opening onto the lower terrace..
The 10 x 5 meter swimming pool is 1.40 m deep with automatic chlorine control, working on a salt water system so there is no free chlorine in the water to give a bad smell. The pH level is also controlled automatically, and heating is from a separate 17 KWh heat pump which also has an efficiency of 4.
The pool has a very powerful Jetstream which allows you to swim in-place, without having to swim lengths and make turns. The surrounding terrace is hard stone. A security fence makes sure small kids can’t enter the swimmingpool by themselfs.
Next to the pool is a large, approx. 35 m2 summer kitchen with its own shower and toilet, kitchen worktop with ample storage space, hot water heater, dishwasher, fridge and large terraces to the front and the side. This is an extremely agreeable area -in summer, it’s possible to live almost permanently next to the pool. You can even sleep under the roof of the summer kitchen or completely outdoors under the stars themselves.
Pets are not allowed.
In the main house (which can be rented fo a maximum of 12 persons) are 2 2-person beds and the rest are single beds. The apartment (which is included in the rent for a maximum of 16 persons) has 4 single beds.
Special fare for up to 12 people:
you can also rent the holiday-house for a maximum of 12 persons. The guestapartment wont’n be accessible, but all the other facilities will be at your use.

Payment: 25% within 2 weeks upon receipt of confirmation of reservation, 75% 4 weeks before rental period.
Deposit: 750€, this amount will be payed back 1 week after departure in case of no lost or damage. In geval of damage or lost the costs will be subtracted from the deposit.
More than 30 days before rental period 25%, from 30 to 21 days 40%, from 20 to 8 days 70%, less than 7 days 100%.
