Welcome at Mas Sivelou
Welcome at our website. We, Ronald and Wilma a Dutch couple have lived and worked in France since 2003. For us, France is a lovely country to work and live in, to enjoy the pleasant climate and to experience the beautiful scenery. The domain of Mas Sivelou, where we live, is a wonderful place to stay and memorable for all ages. We would like for you to experience the infinity of the surrounding landscape and an unparalleled sense of calm. You’ll be surprised about the diversity this region has to offer you and we ourselves are still discovering the most mesmerizing places and are constantly forging new memories.
It simply can’t be missed!
Should you also be on the search for enjoyable get-togethers and sociable occasions to meet new people, you can join us twice a week, on our open-air, communal dining table where we serve our varied and delicious “Table d’hôte” menu.
Home away from home
In the years we’ve spent traveling we always love it as guests, when we feel at home and relaxed. Now that is what we would like to create for our won guests: a “home away from home”. No worries, no ‘ do’s’ or ‘don’ts’, just a relaxing place where you can continue to be yourself. We heartily invite you to our place and so you can experience it for yourself.

More about us
After years of working in the hotel business (Ronald) and commercial/marketing business (Wilma) we were ready for a change. After quitting our jobs and selling our house we started our journey through Asia, Australia, New-Zealand and South-America. After 18 months we headed back with a backpack filled with fantastic memories and stories to tell. During our journey we met a lot of friendly and interesting people and visited stunning places, both urban and rural. We often slept in basic guest housing where the locals lived a very humble lifestyle, but always offered us a big smile and great hospitality. And although we were accustomed to western luxury, we would always feel at home the moment we arrived.
Heading to France
Finally, in 2003 we moved to France where we wanted to share these newly acquired feelings and experiences with others. Initially we started working at a campsite in the Ardèche, followed by running a Bed and Breakfast near Uzès for four years. A larger project, a Domain including castle, themed-tents and extensive grounds caught our attention and we moved to the Auvergne to manage the park. However, due to the absence of the dry and sunny climate of the south, we decided to return after only one year. Ever since we have made ourselves a home here in the foothills of the Cevennes and are the happy managers of the spectacular Mas Sivelou.Contacto
